These pics are the ones for Day 21 of my #100happydays. I realize there has been a rather large gap in my posts – the last one was day 5 or something – first I was down a day or so for site relocation, then we took off for Scotland for two weeks.
The trip was amazing – it was like living in a dream world for a while. I have mentioned before that I do not like hot weather and my moods are extremely affected by my environment. The temperature in Scotland was really cool and even though there was a ton of rain, it didn’t feel muggy. The air just felt so fresh and good! The wind was pretty daunting from time to time, but you just have to go with it.
We also were pretty much without internet access for most of the trip, which was OK. I had to get my news fix at the airport on the way home once I could log back in and I also had to do some catchup with my Fantasy Football team, but it wasn’t really that bad being dis-connected.
These pics are from the Glencoe area which is on the mainland and not one of the Hebrides islands; this area just captured the essence of the landscape for the country for me. It was gorgeous.
Having to come back to Charlotte did not make me happy however and it has really put me in a funk for the past two days. But I will just have to deal with it – I need a new project to get me moving again.
